There’s plenty of things to do across Canberra this weekend, 18-20 February, so if you’re making plans, look no further.

Friday 18 February

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead at Canberra REP Theatre

A modern classic, this fabulously inventive tale of Hamlet as told from the worm’s-eye view of the bewildered Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, two minor characters in Shakespeare’s play.

Previously scheduled for performance in 2021, the territory went into lockdown on the original Preview performance day of 12 August. Directed by Cate Clelland, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead is REP’s first production for 2022.

The Park Avenue Band

Described as ‘an evening of artistic and musical decadence’, The Park Avenue Band will play the ‘creme de la creme’ of soul, pop and soft rock hits from the 1960s through to now.

Enjoy great music, good vibes, wine by the glass, beer by the bottle and the pleasure of walking through an eclectic art gallery at the Artist Shed, Fyshwick, Friday 18 February, 7-10pm; artistshed.com.au
