Second man arrested in Fyshwick scooter store thefts

ACT Policing arrested a second man in relation to a series of targeted thefts throughout Fyshwick earlier this week. 

At about 8.30pm on Thursday 31 March, police attended a residence in Amaroo and arrested the 32-year-old man.

He has been charged with two counts of riding a motor vehicle without consent, aggravated burglary, theft and making off without payment. 

The man is expected to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today, 2 April.  

Police believe there are others involved in these incidents and an investigation is ongoing with officers from Proactive Intervention and Diversion Team, Criminal Investigations, General Duties policing, AFP Forensics, and ACT Policing Intelligence and Digital and Video Operations.
