One new death, 918 COVID cases in Canberra

The ACT has recorded 918 new COVID cases and the death of a woman in her 90s with the virus in the latest update.

It takes the ACT’s total COVID-19 death toll to 43 from 81,821 infections since the start of the pandemic.

There are currently 41 people in hospital with the virus, five are in the ICU with two requiring ventilation.

There are now 5,471 active COVID cases in Canberra.
