Looking for a rental in Canberra? Here are the cheapest suburbs

Canberra has maintained its title as the most expensive capital city in the country to rent, according to CoreLogic’s latest Rental Review for the June quarter.

A typical house now costs a renter a median of $759 per week, while a typical unit costs a median of $573 per week.

Rental values rose by 2.2 per cent over the quarter, with the median rent for both houses and units hitting $690 per week – a rise of 9.3 per cent in just 12 months.
