There are a few events wrapping up around the Capital this weekend, including Canberra Centre’s winter village which returns to the Swiss Alps after Sunday, and Shakespeare to Winehouse, an exhibition on loan from the National Portrait Gallery London.
It’s a wonderful time of year for booklovers, with the Lifeline Canberra Southside Bookfair returning to Tuggeranong 15-17 July.
If live entertainment is more your style, some big names in Aussie music bring their tours to the region. On Saturday night, Melinda Schneider comes to The Street in City West, while Tex Perkins heads to Tallagandra Hill Winery at Gundaroo. And for AFL fans, the Giants take on the Lions at Manuka Oval on Saturday afternoon.
