Witnesses sought to robbery at Erindale shops

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery at the Erindale shops, Wanniassa last night, Monday 15 August.

About 8.50pm two men, one armed with a knife, committed a robbery of the bottle shop, stealing cash, cigarettes, and several bottles of alcohol.

Both men were wearing hoodies, and one had his face covered and was carrying a bag.

Police are requesting anyone who witnessed the robbery or who saw the men running from the area, who has not already spoken to police to come forward.

Additionally, any drivers with a dash-cam in the vehicle, who were in the area around the time are asked to check their footage to see if they have captured any suspicious behaviour.
