ACT Constitution Place awarded Australia’s best mixed-use development

ACT’s Constitution Place has been nationally recognised at Australia’s leading property awards as the nation’s best mixed-use development and best workplace project.

The 2022 Property Council of Australia/Rider Levett Bucknall Innovation and Excellence Awards in Sydney on 2 September highlighted ground-breaking innovations and creative initiatives across the Australian property industry.

Developed by Capital Property Group, Constitution Place is a high-quality dining and retail hub and home to some of Australia’s largest professional services, allowing up to 3,000 workers when fully occupied.

Property Council ACT acting executive director Adele Lausberg said the mixed-use development is environmentally friendly and has created a “city-changing destination” in the heart of Canberra’s CBD.

“The destination has helped change the face of the Canberra CBD,” she said. “Capital Property has created a sophisticated mixed-use precinct which provides not only an exceptional place to work, but a great space to meet for coffee or a meal.”

Rider Levett Bucknall director Fiona Doherty congratulated Capital Property Group on the awards.

“The project is a testament to the innovation and ingenuity that drives the Territory’s property sector and the industry nationally,” Ms Doherty said.
