ACT COVID cases back over 1000 again

The ACT has recorded 1,014 new COVID cases in the latest update.

The number of people in the hospital has remained steady at 38, while three people are in the ICU with one requiring ventilation.

There have now been 68,169 total COVID cases in Canberra since the start of the pandemic and 38 virus-related deaths.

5,728 active cases remain in the ACT.

The ACT has now recorded over 1,000 daily cases in five of the last seven days.

COVID-19 vaccination numbers

  • Aged 5-11 (1 dose): 79.7 per cent
  • Aged 5-11 (2 doses): 33.6 per cent
  • Aged 5+ (2 doses): 96.2 per cent
  • Aged 16+ (3 doses): 71.7 per cent

The vaccination numbers have not been updated today due to system delays.
