FOUND: missing 13-year-old ACT boy Jameel Hussain

UPDATE: ACT Policing has advised the missing 13-year-old boy, Jameel Hussain, has been found.


ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to locate missing 13-year-old boy, Jameel Hussain.

Jameel has not been seen or heard from since Friday 13 May 2022 when he left for school.

He is described as being of Middle Eastern in appearance, with a slim build and about 160 cm (5’3″) tall. He has brown short hair and brown eyes. Jameel was wearing his Canberra High School uniform when he was last seen.

Jameel is known to spend time in Belconnen suburbs with friends.  

Police and Jameel’s family hold concerns for his welfare and are requesting the public’s assistance in locating him.  

Anyone who has seen Jameel is urged to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131 444. Please quote reference 7115711. Information can be provided anonymously.
