The ACT has recorded 355 new COVID cases in the latest update as the number of people in hospital with the virus dropped to its lowest total in over a month.
Of the new cases, 276 were from PCR tests and 79 were from rapid antigen tests.
There are 40 people in hospital with the virus, the lowest number in Canberra since 16 January. Just two are in intensive care with one requiring ventilation.
The ACT has now recorded 44,100 COVID cases since the start of the pandemic and 32 virus-related deaths.
62.9 per cent of eligible ACT residents have received a third dose of the vaccine while 76.8 per cent of children aged 5-11 have had one shot.
The news comes a day after the ACT Government announced that COVID-19 pandemic restrictions will ease in the ACT over the next week.
