ACT records 428 new COVID-19 cases, no deaths

The ACT has recorded 428 new COVID-19 cases and no deaths in the latest reporting period.

Of the cases, 255 were from PCR tests and 173 from rapid antigen tests.

It brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in the ACT to 40,946 during the pandemic with 31 virus-related deaths.

There are 2,618 active cases in Canberra.

51 patients are in hospital with COVID-19, three are in intensive care with one requiring ventilation.

Meanwhile, enormous vaccine mandate protests are continuing in Canberra with tens of thousands of people seen streaming towards Parliament House this morning.
