ACT records 666 new COVID cases, one in ICU

The ACT has recorded 666 new COVID cases in the latest update.

Of the new cases, 224 came from PCR tests while 442 were from rapid antigen tests (RATs).

The number of patients in hospital is now 63, just one is in intensive care and requiring ventilation.

There are 5,464 active COVID cases in the ACT.

Canberra has now amassed 29,908 total COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began in early 2020 with 22 deaths.

98.6 per cent of Canberrans aged 12 and over have had two doses.

Of those residents aged 18 and over, 36.4 per cent have received their booster shot, while 41.7 per cent of residents aged 5-11 have received one dose.
