ACT records 775 new COVID cases, man in his 60s dies

The ACT has recorded 775 new COVID cases and one new virus-related death in the latest update.

The death is of a man in his 60s and takes the ACT’s total COVID death toll to 46 from 87,634 cases since the start of the pandemic.

There are now 6,050 active COVID cases in Canberra.

There are 62 people currently in hospital with the virus, two patients are in the ICU and requiring ventilation.

  • Aged 5-11 (1 dose): 80.5 per cent

  • Aged 16+ (3 doses): 74.2 per cent
