ACT road toll rises to four after 46-year-old man dies in collision in Coree

The ACT has recorded its fourth road death of 2024 after a 46-year-old man died in a single vehicle collision on Brindabella Road, Coree this afternoon. 

About 1.50pm today, 21 April, ACT Policing responded to reports of a single vehicle collision involving a motorbike.

Emergency services treated the 46-year-old man at the scene before he was transported to the Canberra Hospital, where he was sadly declared deceased soon after.

ACT Road Policing’s Major Collision Team is investigating the circumstances of the collision and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.

The news comes on the same day that a 15-year-old died from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle collision on Adelaide Avenue.
