Anderson to debut for Raiders against Dragons

Elijah Anderson will make his NRL after being named on the Raiders bench for their crunch match against the Dragons.

The 22-year-old winger will become Raider #378 on Friday night in a crucial match for the club as they look to bounce back after last week’s disappointing loss to Newcastle.

Anderson comes onto the bench after Sebastian Kris was ruled out with concussion, with Matt Timoko to start at centre.

Ryan Sutton returns to the side at lock with Hudson Young named in the second row and Corey Harawira-Naera relegated to the bench.

Joe Tapine and Josh Papalii have been named to start in the front row with Emre Guler on the bench.

Sia Soliola has dropped out of the 17 and is a reserve along with Dunamis Lui, Matt Frawley and Siliva Havili.

Meanwhile, the Dragons have made a host of changes with Jack Bird, Jack De Belin, Josh McGuire, Mikaela Ravalawa, Blake Lawrie and Zac Lomax all returning to the side.

Matt Dufty and Daniel Alvaro have been named on the reserves while Ben Hunt is out with a fractured arm.
