After going to ground when COVID-19 hit, the Prosperous Mountain Dragon and Lion Dance troupe will awaken Canberra with a roar at Lunar New Year celebrations over the next fortnight.
Twenty years since it opened to a cohort of 20 students on the site of an old dairy farm, Communities@Work Galilee School is expanding to help vulnerable students attain a Year 12 certificate.
The Lunar New Year festive season will give Canberra a glow next week, and despite being somewhat different due to COVID-19, there will still be the usual abundance of food, light and a focus on family to mark the occasion.
