Beauty Review: Kristin Ess

Some things just make life feel a bit better and a good hair day must be close to the top of the list. Promising to help you achieve the perfect blow out look without having to visit your hairdresser is the Kristin Ess Hair styling collection.

Kristen Ess Hair was born from the notion of creating luxury haircare and styling products but offering them at an affordable price. The lightweight and buildable formulas are designed to be used both alone and alongside other products in the range.

Testing out the volumising products so you don’t have to, we tried the Style Assist Blow Dry Mist ($19.99), Instant Lift Thickening Spray ($19.99) and Instant Lift Volumizing Mousse ($19.99).

Starting with damp hair, the mist adds a nice shine and smoothness to the locks, while the thickening spray improves density. The standout of the products was the mousse; not sticky, blendable and boosting without any of the crunchy residue that takes you back to your mum’s hair in the ‘90s.

None of the products had a strong smell which is a blessing really given body creams and perfumes already battle it out to be your signature scent.

If you have fine or flat hair then these products will help you achieve some needed liveliness. Highly recommended for all hair types wanting to boost their mood and locks.

Try Kristin Ess for yourself, shop the range at Chemist Warehouse.
