An investigation is underway after a body was discovered in remote grassland near Lawson late on Monday afternoon, 20 February.

The body was reported to ACT Policing about 5.30pm and was found in reeds close to Lake Ginninderra near the Naval Transmitting Station.

Police have not yet revealed any information about the age or gender of the deceased, or circumstances around the death.
