The body of 37-year-old Danijel Misaljevic, a McKellar man who ACT Policing yesterday reported as missing, was later located in Ginninderra Creek adjacent to Baldwin Drive.
In a statement, Police confirmed “that sadly, it is the missing man we posted about earlier that date”.
An investigation into the circumstances of his death is underway and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Danijel had not been seen since Wednesday morning, 8 June, and was last seen at his home in McKellar.
