Bungendore man claims $2m Lotto win

A Bungendore man has bagged a ‘life-changing’ $2 million in Saturday’s Lotto, the same draw that saw a Belconnen claim an ‘overwhelming’ windfall.

The New South Wales resident held one of the 15 division one winning entries nationally and said he was looking forward to buying himself a new home.

“I honestly couldn’t remember if I’d even purchased an entry into the draw and rushed to check on Sunday morning,” he exclaimed.

“There were all these numbers that were highlighted and I thought “oh, what does that mean?”

“Shortly after I figured it out and my jaw hit the floor.

“For me, it’s life-changing!

“It will allow me to buy a home which is amazing. But the home must have an outdoor kitchen, I’m obsessed with that.

“Then it begs the question, do you buy or just build your dream home?

“I’ve definitely got some thinking to do. Thanks so much, I’m absolutely stoked.”
