Travelling to South-East Asia is set to be even easier for Canberrans with the announcement of direct flights between Canberra and Bali commencing later this year.

Canberra Airport today announced the launch of a new direct route between Canberra and Denpasar, Indonesia, commencing on 14 June 2024 in partnership with Indonesian based carrier, Batik Air under the Lion Group. Batik Air is a full-service airline of the Lion Air Group.

The new route will be operating three times a week and is a great opportunity for Canberra travellers looking to explore South-East Asia for leisure, trade and education.

The news opens up another direct international flight from the ACT after Canberra to Fiji flights started last year.
