A number of Canberra’s finest bars have been named as finalists for the 23rd Annual Bartender Magazine Australian Bar Awards.
The full list of nominees is dominated by venues in NSW and Victoria, but there are several local establishments set to represent the ACT when the awards night takes place on 11 September in Sydney.

- Cocktail List of the Year: Volstead Repeal
- Best Bartenders’ Bar: Bootleg Dive Bar
- Best Brewery Bar: Bentspoke, Capital Brewing Co
- Best Specialty Beer Venue: Hopscotch
- Tequila Bar of the Year: CABO, Loquita
- Whisky Bar of the Year: Volstead Repeal
- Cocktail Bar of the Year in the ACT: Volstead Repeal, Molly, White Rabbit Cocktail Room, Hippo Co.
- Bar of the Year in the ACT: Bar Rochford, Loquita Taqueria, Paloma’s, Squeaky Clean, Highball
