Last night, Thursday 18 June, 166 CEOs across Canberra slept outside to raise money and awareness for homelessness.
So far, they have raised more than $400,000 for St Vincent de Paul to support services that assist homeless people in the Canberra region.
An estimated 100,000 people sleep rough in Australia every night.
St Vincent de Paul Canberra CEO Barnie van Wyk said he expected that number to increase as unemployment figures continue to rise due to COVID-19.
