The Canberra Raiders started their journey as a top-flight rugby league team on 27 February 1982 when they took on South Sydney in their ever first NSWRFL match.
40 years on, come February 2022, CMAG will partner with the Green Machine to celebrate the milestone with an exhibition.
Canberra Raiders: 40 Years in the Limelight will look to engage and include pieces of Raiders history from a broad cross-section, and they want your help.
The exhibition will feature some pivotal moments in the clubโs history, what they mean to the community, and some of their significant achievements both on and off the field.
CMAG senior curator, Sharon Bulkeley, said the exhibition it will be a show for everyone from die-hards to bandwagoners.
โFans will love discovering the hidden stories of the club and new recruits can learn why the โgreen machineโ garners such strong loyalty and pride,โ she said.
