Canberra Raiders centre Curtis Scott has been stood down from “all duties” by his club as the NRL Integrity Unit investigates his involvement in an alleged nightclub fight.
Security camera footage from Canberra nightclub Kokomo’s dated 30 May 2021 shows a man believed to be Scott punch another man several times before being swiftly removed by staff.

In a statement released this morning, the Canberra Raiders say they will make “no further comment on the issue” until the investigation is complete.
This developing drama comes amid a horror run both on and off the field for the Raiders, who currently sit 14th on the ladder having lost seven of their last eight NRL matches.
At the end of May, a highly publicised immediate release was granted to English half-back George Williams. It came when the “situation became untenable” following multiple requests by Williams due to homesickness.
Scott has endured a disrupted run in Canberra since signing with the club before the 2020 season.
In the early hours of 27 January 2020, Scott was arrested by NSW Police for ‘assaulting police’ after being handcuffed and tasered by officers after being found passed out in Sydney’s Moore Park.
The charges were ultimately dropped with the damning bodycam footage showing a heavily inebriated Scott being effectively assaulted by police.
The club stood by and supported their recruit as the highly publicised proceedings played out.
On the field his interrupted 2020 campaign ended when he injured his right leg. After being cleared of a fracture, Scott ended up suffering an infection due to a plate in his leg from when he broke it back in 2016.
Over the first half of the 2021 season Scott has played to a higher standard than he was able to accomplish last year.
