Four new COVID cases in Southern NSW, three in Queanbeyan

The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has recorded four new COVID cases, with three in Quaenbeyan-Palerang.

Two of the new Queanbeyan coronavirus infections are in Jerrabomberra while the other is in Karabar. All are under investigation.

The remaining case is in Pambula in the Bega Valley LGA and is linked to a known case.

This brings the total number of cases in the SNSWLHD to 488 since the start of the outbreak in June.

The areas within the SNSWLHD that have cases under ‘virtual care’ are Queanbeyan-Palerang (58), Goulburn (1), Eurobodalla (1), Yass Valley (5) and Bega Valley (5).

There are two people in hospital with the virus.
