A man has been arrested and cash, drugs and firearms seized following a search warrant in Garran yesterday 2 September. Â
About 2.30pm yesterday, detectives from Criminal Investigations Drugs and Organised Crime team, executed a search warrant at a residence in Garran where a 36-year-old man was arrested.Â
Upon entering the property, officers located three modified rifles, a revolver, an antique pistol and multiple types of ammunition.
Further searches revealed approximately 85 grams of heroin, 85 grams of methylamphetamine, 200grams of MDMA, steroids, human growth hormone and magic mushrooms.  Â
Police also located gold bullion, jewelry, a gold-plated basketball card and four telephones which were all seized.
$71,300 worth of cash was also seized at the property as suspected proceeds of crime.
The man is set to face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning and has been charged with three counts of traffic in a controlled drug other than cannabis, unauthorised possession of three prohibited firearms, unauthorised possession of one firearm, possession of ammunition generally, possession of property suspected of being proceeds of crime and supplying anabolic steroids. Â
ACT Policing will oppose bail. Â
