GIVIT seeks school shoes

GIVIT is calling for the donation of school shoes for two young children living in a family experiencing financial hardship due to the rising cost of living and mental illness. This family is currently being assisted by a charity that supports children and families in crisis. One of the parents has been hospitalised after experiencing a mental illness and the other is struggling to get by on a minimum wage. The stress of caring for two kids, taking care of a partner who is unwell and put food on the table is taking a toll. Any support for this family would be greatly appreciated. Generous Canberrans can fund this request with 100% of money donated used to purchase two pairs of school shoes for the children. To find out how you can help please visit givit.org.au/whats-needed; Search Category: keyword ‘school shoes’; Location: ‘ACT’. GIVIT supports more than 400 charities and community groups across the Capital Region by matching your items with people who need them most.
