Have you heard? Trivia night, markets, grocery vouchers and more

GIVIT seeks grocery vouchers

GIVIT is working with a not-for-profit organisation that provides assistance and support for migrants, refugees and humanitarian entrants in the ACT. They are requesting grocery items for a refugee family with five children after both parents were injured in a serious car accident. The father has sadly sustained long-term health issues as a result of this accident, leaving the mother and her 16-year-old daughter to support the rest of the family which includes five children aged 3-16. They are struggling to put food on the table so the donation of grocery vouchers will assist them greatly. Generous Canberrans can fund this request with 100% of the funds received by GIVIT used to purchase grocery vouchers for this family. To fund this request, visit GIVIT.org.au/what’s-needed, search Category: ‘grocery items’; Location: ‘ACT’. GIVIT supports more than 400 charities and community groups across the Capital Region by matching your items with people who need them most.
