Have you heard? Vinnies Winter Appeal

Vinnies Winter Appeal aims to raise $300,000

The 2022 Vinnies Winter Appeal is looking to raise $300,000 to help individuals and families to sleep safe this winter. In the area that the St Vincent de Paul Canberra/Goulburn operates, which ranges from Canberra to the NSW South Coast, Tumut and beyond Young, issues like domestic violence, natural disasters, and lack of affordable, or low-cost housing and accommodation have increased the number of people seeking help. Vinnies Canberra/Goulburn provides assistance such as clothing, blankets, food, connection to specialised services and the financial support needed to help women fleeing domestic violence to start again. Every night of safety and provision of support makes a practical difference, so Vinnies are asking the community to donate to the 2022 Vinnies Winter appeal by calling on 13 18 12 or via www.donate.vinnies.org.au/winter-appeal
