Three men will face court today after 452 cannabis plants were seized from homes in Amaroo and Macgregor yesterday, 15 December.
The bust came as part of an ongoing investigation into the cultivation of commercial quantities of cannabis in the ACT.
The investigation, conducted by officers from Belconnen Station, saw search warrants executed at homes in Amaroo, Macgregor, and Ainslie yesterday.
255 plants were seized from a Macgregor house and 197 plants were seized from an Amaroo house, where elaborate hydroponic systems were found.
A 34-year-old man and a 35-year-old man were each charged with one count of cultivating a commercial quantity of a controlled plant for sale.
A 64-year-old man faces two charges of cultivating a commercial quantity of a controlled plant for sale.
All three are scheduled to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today, Thursday 16 December.
