Is your suburb affected by Easter bin collection changes?

Due to the Good Friday public holiday, wheelie bin collections scheduled in 30 ACT suburbs for today, Friday 7 April (landfill, recycling and green bins) will occur the following day, on Saturday 8 April.

This will affect residents in: Acton, Ainslie, Barton, Braddon, Bruce, Campbell, Charnwood (Friday zone), City, Deakin, Dickson, Downer, Forde, Forrest, Fyshwick, Franklin, Griffith, Gungahlin, Hackett, Harrison, Kingston, Lyneham (south), Narrabundah, Oaks Estate, O’Connor, Pialligo, Red Hill, Reid, Throsby, Turner and Watson.

Residents in these areas will need to have their wheelie bins out by 5am on Saturday morning to avoid missing the collection.

Bin collections on Easter Monday 10 April will be collected as normal.

All waste facilities are closed on Good Friday, Friday 7 April, including all businesses operating within the Resource Management Centres of Hume and Mitchell.
