A 41-year-old Kambah man will face court today charged with drug trafficking following his arrest over the weekend.
On Saturday 11 December, detectives attached to Taskforce Nemesis executed a search warrant at a Kambah residence where approximately 28 grams of a white powder suspected to be cocaine, approximately $1,700 in cash, a quantity of prohibited fireworks and mobile phones were seized.
The 41-year-old man was arrested soon after.
The search warrant was executed as part of an ongoing investigation by ACT Policing’s Taskforce Nemesis into outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) drug distribution in the ACT and the surrounding region.
The man was charged with trafficking in a controlled drug (other than cannabis) and is scheduled to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today, Monday 13 December.
