A man aged in his 30s died, while a woman, also in her 30s, was seriously injured during the incident in the Launceston suburb of Ravenswood in the early hours of November 25.

The man is also facing charges of attempted murder and aggravated burglary, and is expected to appear in Launceston Magistrates Court on Friday.
