Emergency services are on the scene of a motor vehicle incident northbound on the Kings Avenue Bridge in Barton.
All northbound lanes on the bridge are currently closed and traffic is at a standstill.
The community is asked to avoid the area and find an alternative route.
There are reports the accident involves five cars and that one person has been taken to hospital.
