Louise Taffa started playing “the world’s game” as a Cooma Tiger at age five, in an effort to emulate her cool older brother. Football has been part of her life ever since. As a journalist, Louise has co-authored a book on female entrepreneurs, worked as a media assistant in the W-League, and joined Women in Football as a board member. She continues to champion the sport in the region, with a keen interest in the development of young players.
ARTWORKS
My artworks I painted many years ago – portraits of Coco Chanel, John Lennon and Leonardo Da Vinci. I can’t part ways with them.
HEIRLOOM BRACELETS
Bracelets my grandmother gave me. I adore these, I wear them every day. I’m the third generation to receive them.
FIFA MEDAL
When I covered the FIFA U20 World Cup in Korea in 2017, FIFA gave me a medal as a gift.
MY NIKON
My camera. I love taking photos pitch side at football games (when I have time).
