An 85-year-old Sydney man is facing nearly 30 criminal charges after NSW Police seized hundreds of guns at his home.
Officers attended his home at Mosman on Sydney’s north shore in May to conduct a safe storage inspection of firearms secured at the home.
Concerns led to an investigation, which in turn led police to return to the home later that month.
They seized more than 350 guns and issued a firearms suspension warning.
The man received a court attendance notice on Thursday for 11 counts of having unregistered firearms, 12 counts of not producing a registered firearm, and five charges of not keeping firearms safely.
He will appear in Manly Local Court on November 16.
