A man has been charged with murder after a woman died following a house fire in southern NSW.
Emergency services were called to a home in Bribbaree about 50km northwest of Young about noon on Sunday to find a 65-year-old woman suffering severe burns.
She was airlifted in a critical condition to Royal North Shore Hospital where she died about 3am on Monday.
Police are treating the death as a domestic violence incident and say a 42-year-old man was arrested at Parkes Police Station.
He was charged with murder, cause wounding/grievous bodily harm with intent to murder, damaging property by fire/explosion and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was refused bail to appear before Parkes Local Court on Monday.
