There are two new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Southern NSW Health District with one in the Queanbeyan region and one in Goulburn.
The NSW Deputy Premier John Barilao announced the cases on Saturday morning, 11 September, saying they were recorded after 8pm yesterday and will be included in tomorrow’s number.
The case in Queanbeyan-Palerang is in Karabar.
Contact tracing and other investigations are underway to determine the sources of the infections.
More guidance and potential venues of concern will be announced as information becomes available.
The previous recorded cases in both the Queanbeyan region and Goulburn were announced on 6 September, with three in Queanbeyan and two in Goulburn.
The lockdown in both Queanbeyan, Goulburn and 36 other NSW Local Government Areas has been extended as some other parts of regional NSW emerged from lockdown at 12.01am today.
