New-look Pooh Bear’s Corner sign almost ready to go back on the Clyde

A few weeks after the beloved Pooh Bear’s Corner sign was removed, a new-look sign is almost ready to be put back on Clyde Mountain.

There was some concern the sign had been stolen when it vanished earlier this month, but the Eurobodalla Shire Council was quick to calm everyone down by announcing it was collected by council staff to be restored.

The sign is just about ready to be placed back in its rightful spot, with just a few more touches required to make it weatherproof. No exact return date has been set.

The Narooma Men’s Shed has undertaken the restoration work, with Rose Gauslaa responsible for the artwork.

What are your thoughts on the new sign?
