National Farmer’s Federation (NFF) House in Barton is on the market, and, according to Colliers International, has already attracted a “large crop” of interested parties.
Colliers International’s director capital markets and investment services, Matthew Winter, said NFF House received more than 50 enquiries in the first 24 hours of being on the market, attributing the interest to a “combination of location and return on investment”.
“We are seeing interest from small syndicates right through to institutional investors,” he said.
“Sitting on a prominent land holding of 2,986sqm with dual frontage, including frontage onto one of Barton’s most highly trafficked thoroughfares, NFF House’s neighbours include major Commonwealth Departments and leading national organisations and companies.”
NFF House, on Brisbane Avenue in Barton, has 100% occupancy, sitting in Canberra’s tightly-held parliamentary precinct. Expressions of interest for the property close on Thursday 13 August.
