A 17-year-old NSW teenager will face the ACT Children’s Court today after allegedly taking part in a violent home invasion where the residents were stabbed several times.
At about 8am on Saturday 4 May 2024, a woman answered the door of her home in Conder when a man allegedly pushed his way inside and stabbed her.
The man and three other men then allegedly assaulted the male occupant, stabbing him as well.
Following an investigation by ACT Policing Major Crime and the arrest of three other alleged offenders, police issued a court attendance notice to the teenager on Monday 14 October 2024
He will face charges of aggravated burglary, joint commission intentionally inflict grievous bodily harm and joint commission assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and is scheduled appear in the ACT Childrens Court today, 11 November.
On Thursday 24 October 2024, a fifth offender who police allege drove the four males to and from the incident, was also issued a court attendance notice.
He will face charges of aid and abet aggravated burglary and is scheduled to appear before the ACT Magistrate’s Court on 12 December 2024.
