Police have commenced an investigation after a driver died in a two-vehicle crash on the Kings Highway in Warri, between Braidwood and Bungendore.
At about 5:30pm Thursday 7 November, emergency services were called to the Kings Highway, Warri, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Monaro Police District attended and found a blue Aurion sedan and a white Volkswagen ute had crashed.
The front passenger of sedan – a 67-year-old man – sustained head injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of sedan – a 66-year-old woman – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the ute – a 71-year-old woman – was taken to Canberra Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A crime scene has been established and officers attached to Crash Investigation Unit have commenced an investigation into the incident. A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
