Good news! Celebrating Father’s Day in lockdown does not have to mean bringing Dad burnt breakfast in bed, primary school-style. Stay the classy adult you are and order Dad something fancy from a local foodie establishment.

OTIS
29 Jardine Street, Kingston
The Kingston food hall has pivoted on a dime during lockdown, creating OTIS at Home – fine dining to level up your lockdown experience. OTIS has navigated around the catch of fine dining, made to be eaten immediately after coming off the hotplate. Their weekly offerings include cook-at-home bundles that require minimal preparation and maintain maximum luxury for your tastebuds. For instance, their Father’s Day mix grill lunch features the Wagyu brisket in their signature pepper mix. The wagyu is slow cooked, marinated and prepared in the two days before it arrives at your doorstep, with instructions on how to reheat and plate your meal, easy-peasy. If that’s not fancy enough for Dad, treat him to their ‘Sommelier at Home’ pack, featuring a selection of their favourite OTIS wine list entries, paired with small bites, and tasting notes.
