Police looking for three teens after 12yo girl assaulted outside Westfield Woden

ACT Policing is seeking to identify three teenagers – a boy and two girls – over their alleged involvement in the assault and attempted aggravated robbery of a 12-year-old girl on Friday 9 June.  

About 6pm, the girl parked an electric scooter inside the entry doors at the Corinna Street entrance to Westfield Woden.  

The boy allegedly approached and walked away with the scooter before a woman, known to the 12-year-old, subsequently took the scooter back.  

Shortly afterwards, one of the two girls allegedly assaulted the 12-year-old and threatened to assault the woman before the trio fled the scene on foot.  

The boy is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a thin build and short, light brown hair, wearing a light grey hooded jumper, black jacket, black pants, and tan work boots.  

The girl who committed the alleged assault is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a solid build and dark red hair, wearing a black hoodie, black leggings, and pink runners. 

The other girl is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a solid build and dark hair, wearing a black jumper, black pants, and white runners.  

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault and attempted aggravated robbery, or who may be able to identify the alleged offenders.
