Police looking to locate Michael Williams following serious assault in Duffy

ACT Policing is seeking public assistance to locate a man following a serious assault that occurred at a residence in Duffy in February this year. 

About 8.30pm on Thursday 29 February, police allege Michael Williams, alongside three other people, attended a residence in Duffy and seriously assaulted two male occupants in the front yard with hammers and a knife. 

As a result of the assault, the two victims sustained serious injuries consistent with grievous bodily harm. 

A 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old man faced court in March 2024 in relation to the assault. 

Following extensive enquiries, ACT Policing is today seeking public assistance to locate Michael Williams. He is considered a threat to the community and should not be approached.
