Police release footage relating to Pialligo Avenue road death

ACT Policing has released CCTV footage and images relating to a collision on Pialligo Avenue in February which resulted in the death of 28-year-old Queanbeyan man, Jyle Molloy.

Police would like to speak with the drivers of a white 4WD station wagon and a silver sedan that have been identified as being on Pialligo Avenue late on Sunday, 27 February 2022. â€¯ 

Anyone else that has information about these vehicles is also urged to come forward.   

Mr Molloy was discovered on Pialligo Avenue with injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. He was found soon after he was struck, it is believed he was a pedestrian.

Police issued a call out for information and dash cam footage at the time, saying no CCTV footage would be available due to the incident occurring in an isolated location.

Witnesses or anyone with information about the incident are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 7045713. Information can be provided anonymously.
