Police seek witnesses to single car crash near Parliament House

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a single vehicle collision that occurred near Parliament House earlier today, Saturday 8 October.  

About 6.30am this morning, police and emergency services were called to a single vehicle collision that occurred in the northbound lanes of Capital Circle adjacent to Parliament House.  

A grey Lexus SUV travelled down Adelaide Avenue and failed to negotiate the bend as the road becomes Capital Circle, with the vehicle subsequently rolling. Two occupants of the vehicle left the scene while two others were treated for their injuries and transported to hospital.  

Police are urging any occupants who left the scene to seek medical assistance as soon as possible. 

Police are also asking any witness who has not already spoken to police or any driver with dash-cam footage of the grey Lexus SUV prior to the collision to come forward.
