ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery at the Swinger Hill shops yesterday morning, Saturday 28 August.
About 10.50am yesterday, a man entered the IGA X-press store in Swinger Hill and allegedly threatened staff with a knife before demanding money. Staff complied and provided the man with a sum of cash.
The man ran from the store and police believe he left the area in a maroon coloured sedan with yellow NSW registration plates and a red ‘P’ plate displayed.
The man was described as Caucasian in appearance, medium build and approximately 185cm (6’1”) tall. He was wearing navy blue work style pants, a green jacket with yellow high-visibility shirt underneath, black and white sneakers, a black beanie and a blue medical mask.
