Police seize meth, cash, and replica handgun in Scullin drug bust

A 34-year-old woman is set to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court this morning after police discovered drugs, cash, and a firearm during a search warrant executed yesterday.

Following an investigation into her suspected involvement in drug trafficking, ACT Policing’s Proactive Intervention and Diversion Team searched a residence in Scullin.

During the search, officers found approximately 100 grams of suspected methamphetamine, $4000 in cash, and a replica handgun.

The woman was arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled substance, possessing suspected proceeds of crime, and contravening an order.
